While we’re counting down the seconds until Christmas, we wanted to make sure you knew that our excellent support will still be here during the holiday season.
As we have in previous years, we run our support services with reduced staff, to ensure that all our staff members get to have at least some time off while still keeping full coverage running smoothly during the day. Response times might be slightly slower than they are normally, but your message will be answered, and we’ll reply to you as quickly as possible.
We’ve also had a code freeze in place since last week, giving our development team time to plan for even bigger projects in the new year while also being on hand to smash any rogue bugs that might pop up. Our platform team is also on-call during this season, making sure your websites are loading quickly and stay online during this busy e-commerce season.
On Christmas Day, Giles will be spending a quiet day watching out for tickets and live chats while enjoying warm Spanish sunshine with his two daughters. Unless, of course, he wins El Gordo on the 22nd, at which point we’ll have to find a new Support team member.
On Boxing Day, amidst scattered toys, bits of tinsel, and turkey sandwiches, Scott will be covering Support, and then also covering it on the two Bank Holidays on December 27th and 28th. And with any luck, it won’t be a white Christmas up north, so he won’t be constantly asked to go out and play in the snow.
Scott will also be covering the New Year’s weekend, ready to help you if anything goes wrong with your January sale, and Mike will be back on Support on the Bank Holiday on the 3rd, when, hopefully, his son will have calmed down from all the Christmas excitement.
