Five CodePens to get you into an autumn mood

Autumn is coming, and, because I’m basic, I’m so excited! Pumpkin spice lattes? Yes please. Cosy scarves? Sign me up.

I browsed CodePen to bring you five autumn-filled pens that are sure to get you in the mood for crisp air, warm drinks, and pumpkin everything. Enjoy!

Minimalistic Cups by Visnu Ravichandran

These cup designs are so simple, but in the best way! They’re easily recognizable, easy to customize colour-wise, and they even have a cute little ice cube animation. They definitely have me craving a nice drink!

Twisted Pumpkins Weekend by Nate Wiley

This is just a whole lot of fun! Move your mouse around to see Nate’s spinning pumpkins that kind of make you feel like you have to get into an autumn mood or else they’ll make you!

Autumn Leaves | PhysicsJS Demo by Jasper Palfree (Well Caffeinated)

Jasper used his own library, PhysicsJS, to make this really interactive pen! Click and drag the trees out in any direction and let go to shake the leaves off. On top of being very autumn-themed, it’s also really satisfying!

I love this pen! It makes me feel like I’m caught up in an autumn breeze surrounded by gorgeous leaves. I thought the colours in this one were absolutely beautiful.

Animation by Patrick Heng

This adorable animation created with TweenMax certainly has a cosy feel to it! The colours and all the nature elements remind me of a refreshing autumn walk–although hopefully a bear-free one!

I hope you’re all now feeling as ready for colourful leaves, jazzy tunes, and deliciously-spiced foods as I am! Enjoy the weather, and keep coding!
