We’re quickly approaching Christmas Day 2019! It only feels like yesterday that we were preparing our January Sale items for this year gone and yet we’re here again getting ready for January 2020, which we hope will be our best month yet. It’s been a busy year for all of us at Eco Web Hosting and we won’t be stopping just because it’s Christmas!
Working over the festive period is never something that anyone looks forward to and as CEO, Its extremely important for me to ensure that our team get the time off to rest and spend time with their loved ones at this time of year but that we also maintain our excellent support service, that our customers rely on all year round! Most of our customers are business owners or small businesses and like us, they’re putting 100% into their plans for 2020 and we will be here, whatever day of the year it is to support them in achieving their goals.
This year, we will be running our support services with 50% less staff than we would do at any other time and from the 24th up until the 27th, you may notice that our response times are a little slower than they would be normally but trust that we are working away behind the scenes and will reply to you as quickly as possible.
From the 20th of December, our Development team join our Support and Sales staff on the front line and we all do our bit to provide support to our customers with the support they need. By closing down our development operation over this period it allows us to spread the working requirements and give everyone as much time off as possible across the whole business.
The team that manage our servers remain on call throughout the whole period, so in the unlikely event that our platform has an issue, you know they’ll be fixing it just as quickly as they would any other day of the year.
On Christmas Day this year, I’ll be providing our support cover all day. So if you need anything, I’ll be ready and waiting on the other side of your support ticket! But please, spare a thought when you’re tucking into your Christmas dinner, I’ll have to wait for mine until the evening (if my dogs don’t get to it first!).
