We’re counting down the seconds for Christmas Day, and we’re amazed that another year has gone past — especially this year, where it seemed to just go on forever.
And we wanted to make sure that you knew that even though it’s the festive season, our excellent support won’t stop for the holidays.
This year, we are running our support services with reduced staff to ensure that all our staff members get to enjoy some peaceful time off while still keeping full coverage for every day. You might notice that our response times are slightly slower than they would normally be, but we will reply to you as quickly as possible.
We’ve had a code freeze — where no new code is put live — since December 16th, giving our development team time to help cover support, as well as making sure that if anything does happen, our team is free to smash any rogue bugs that appear. Our platform team is also on call throughout this period, to make sure that your websites are loading quickly and stay online during this busy e-commerce period.
On Christmas Day itself, Mike, our Support Manager, will be covering tickets, keeping one eye on his computer and the other on his toddler discovering the joy of playing in boxes (rather than with the expensive presents that came in them). And on Boxing Day, Chris, our CEO, will be on support while his cats and dogs try to sneak pork pies off the table.
